RE/DONE |  Los Angeles, CA | Freelance Assistant Designer | March 2017 - June 2017: Ensure timely adherence to the fashion calendar: from design to sms, to production. Responsible for creation and maintenance of tech packs for all carry-over and new development styles. Maintain and update working line sheet for each season. Issue PO’s for fabrics, trims, and contract sample development. Create original artworks for graphic styles. Research new concepts for upcoming seasonal developments.

Alo Yoga |  Commerce, CA | Assistant Technical Designer | May 2016 - February 2017: Experienced with both knits and wovens in the athleisure market. Created fit comments and construction pages in communication with overseas vendors. Oversaw development of in-house prototype samples from issuing cut-ticket to sample-room sewing. 

Vince |  Los Angeles, CA | Technical Design Assistant | September 2015 - February 2016: Created the Vince Measuring Guide and Manufacturing Manual. Assisted technical designers in creating technical specifications on Illustrator and Excel to meet all design intent.

Material Resource Center | Rhode Island School of Design | Providence, RI | Material Collection Assistant | September 2012 - May 2015: Organized and maintained the material archive consisting of 5000+ materials pertaining to science, art and design. Utilized knowledge of materials in order to assist students and faculty in sourcing materials pertaining to their design needs.

Ralph Lauren | New York, NY | Menswear Design Intern | Black Label + Rugged RLX | June - August 2013: Assisted the creative director of outerwear in developing prototype samples for communication with the factory of manufacture. Experimented with patterns for several pieces to outerwear sleeves, elbow patches, and puffer jacket body. Conducted extensive research into vintage archives and curated a selection of pieces as reference and inspiration.

Tim Coppens | New York, NY | Menswear Design + Production Intern | June - August 2012: Worked with the head designer in overseeing production of garments and accessories with various factories. Undertook self-directed projects, such as cutting and pattern-making of pieces and accessories for the runway presentation, creating technical flats on Illustrator, and sourcing fabrics and trims for garments. Worked with the designer’s showroom, The News, to facilitate during photo-shoots and sales appointments.

TSE | New York, NY | Knitwear Design Intern | June - August 2011: Assisted the design team in completing the Pre-fall 2012 and Spring 2012 collections. Involved in both research and technical aspects of the design process: creating layouts for prints and knitwear, draping and pattern-making, working on Illustrator to create technical flats, assisting the technical designer during fittings, maintaining swatch library, sourcing fabrics and trims, and updating tech-packs and line sheets.
